Bogie is a very handsome young man with so many wonderful qualities. He is extremely intelligent, housebroken, knows basic obedience, loves to play fetch and so much more.  Bogie takes some time to warm up and respect new people, but once he does, you will have a loyal friend for life. He will need an owner with past dog experience who will establish boundaries and maintain a strong leadership role. Hula is a young, smart Australian Cattle Dog mix who loves to run around, play and grab your attention. He is bubbling over with energy and would do great in a home where he has an experienced leader and gets plenty of exercise. Structure, consistency and plenty of play time will help keep his active mind stimulated.

Jay Jay is a cute little 6-year-old Miniature Pinscher mix who is waiting patiently for the right family to take him home. He is a very sweet guy once he comes out of his shell and gets to know you. He loves to sit on your lap, get petted and give you lots of kisses. He isn't an extremely active dog, but likes to run around our park and loves going for long walks (he walks great on a leash). Jay Jay is also extremely housebroken! He needs someone to be a firm leader who will take a leadership role when working with him and have the patience and understanding that he needs. He does respond to corrections and that's why it's extremely important to be consistent with him. He likes to pick and choose his friends, so if you have another dog make sure you bring him or her down to meet Jay Jay face to face. So come down to the Animal League and ask one of Jay Jay's friends to take him out for you!

Rocky is a 5-year-old shepherd mix who is looking for someone to give him a chance at becoming the great dog he wants to be. He loves to run around the dog park and likes long walks and is sometimes a little frustrated by being in his cage. He also likes to hang out with his favorite people friends for a nice scratch. His favorite activities are chasing balls and playing in the kiddie pool. Since Rocky is a little shy he may be a bit nervous at first, but once he gets comfortable you can be sure that you'll be friends forever. Rocky is housebroken and walks very nicely on a leash. He also knows a few commands and is eager to learn more. Rocky is looking for a second chance, so please come down to the Animal League and meet him!

Shane is a English Coonhound mix who loves being the center of attention. He loves playing with other dogs, loves running around and loves his toys. He adores the kiddie pool and loves splashing around on a hot summer day. While at the Animal League, he has mastered the treadmill and knows a few commands such as: sit, lay down, and would love to learn more! Shane would be best suited in a household with older children or adults since he has such high energy. He would benefit from a strong leader to give him guidance and consistency. If you have another dog at home, have them come down to the Animal League to meet Shane as well!

YoYo is a young adult who has had a pretty rough start in life and wants a second chance at becoming the great companion she wants to be. She is really a sweetheart and absolutely LOVES people! She is very eager to please and very affectionate. On top of that, she is housebroken, quiet and very well mannered! YoYo is a people dog and would prefer to be the only dog in the house. It is important for YoYo to be able to look up to her owner for guidance and as her owner you should establish yourself as a "pack leader".
